Four young men have been jailed after a brutal machete attack on a 17-year-old boy in Middlesbrough. They stabbed him 16 times and left him fighting for his life in the early hours of April 30th, 2025, in the Himlington area. The group chased the boy through back gardens and over fences, as caught on CCTV footage. He desperately tried to escape their pursuit before collapsing on Himlington Hall Road. Local residents heard his screams, shouted at the attackers to stop, and rushed to give him first aid until paramedics arrived. Their quick thinking gave him the best shot at survival. Tyler Bradley, 18, got 14 years for attempted murder, while 19-year-old Wayne Boyd received 13 years for the same charge.
