M60 Motorway Crash Causes Major Delays

For the Stockport Pyramid, two of the three lanes are closed there, with only lane 1 open past the scene, causing long queues to build up quickly. Traffic is backing up all the way to Junction 24 at Denton Island and motorway cameras show heavy congestion stretching to the closures. National Highways reports delays of at least 30 minutes beyond normal travel times, with traffic officers and police working the incident. Allow plenty of extra time if you're heading that way, as crews clear the wreckage and reopen the lanes.
