M60 Anticlockwise: Major Delays Due to Emergency Repairs

Two lanes are closed between junction 11 at Eccles and junction 10 near the Trafford Center, causing serious gridlock. Cues have stretched all the way back past junction 15 at the M-61 Swinton Interchange. Folks trying to join from the M-61 are also hitting heavy delays. According to traffic monitors at Inrex, these are long delays impacting everyone on that stretch. National highways reports it could take about 30 minutes just to get through the worst of the Cues right now. The closures should lift around 2pm, but until then drivers are rerouting onto the A57 Liverpool Road through Peel, Green, and Eccles where it's. Getting pretty backed up too.
