0:00Alan just mentioned any other announcements, so there is a holiday in the cycle coming up called tomorrow, tomorrow called Bahab. Now it's important that we, you know, even if we don't observe it in the fullest sense, but at least we should know what it is. And something called Tandis Bahab is an acronym for Monday, Thursday, Monday, bases. The second day of the week, hey, is the Thursday. And those are the fast. Now what is this? What am I talking about? So if you ever look in the back of the art school sitter, you ever wonder why is the art school sitter so heavy? So if you look at the back, there's all this stuff that we never get to in the pages. Now that could be gives you joy because, you know, there's, you know, at least that part of the book we don't touch. But well, what is it doing there? It just makes the book heavy. We never get there. We never turn those pages. We don't even know what's there.

1:00So it says over there, first Monday, Thursday, and second Monday, okay, right? What does that mean? So it's basically just like this, that what this is, is that the, there was a minog, and it still exists in many places. And that it costs them among Ashkenazic jewelry that in the month following, these following Pesach, and in the month following Sukus, that we have, we observe a series of fasts. It's a three series of fasts of a Monday, Thursday, and a Monday. And that is, so the reason brought down is because connected with the holiday that perhaps there is a mitzvah to celebrate on the holiday. But sometimes we might have overindulged not for the sake of heaven. That might have happened. Now they did this before Pesach programs. I don't know what they did. Maybe they fasted a whole year afterwards, I don't know, but they said that perhaps we didn't, we overselibrated in a sense gastronomical delights and not so much heavenly delights.

2:04And therefore they had a minog to fast, a series of three fasts. And on those fasts, the main thing is the Tfila, the prayer. And just like we have Slykhot by Rosh Hashanah, or in the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah, so too they are Slykhot. If you look in the back of the book, that's what takes up about 10% of your book. And that is what's called Tanis and Filos of Bahab. So one idea is connected with the overindulgence, and therefore of course the counter to that is the fasting, the second is perhaps we didn't observe the days of Khulham Mawaid. We made them more Khul and less Mawaid, more weekday and less festival. And therefore that too was a part of the institution of this, and it's only done following Sukhis and following Pesach, and we don't do it following Shavuys, because Shavuys is only a one or two days. And therefore you can't over indulge that much, and there's no Khulham Mawaid.

3:04And therefore the minog was relegated only to the festival of Sukhis and Pesach. And we wait till the month after, we don't want to fast in the sound, we don't want to fast in Tishre, and therefore we wait till a clear cycle of a Monday, Thursday and Monday. And that is something that at least we should know about, even if it's not observed in many, many communities. So they know about these programs, moments of music. Yeah, yeah, they pre-anticipated it.
