The case ties back to a scandal last January when a lured photo from his phone appeared on his ex account for 13 minutes, tagging a manager at sponsor Boopa. Sayers insist he did not post it. Had it removed right away and was cleared by the AFL Integrity Unit after providing a sworn statement. Sayers stepped down as president soon after, but kept his role in business, rebranding his firm and cutting his shares to 1.3%.
