Luke Murray Named BC's New Head Coach

This will be his first time leading a program as head coach. The news comes from multiple reports dated March 26. Murray joined Yukon staff back in 2021. Before that, he started as an assistant at Xavier in 2015 under Chris Mack. He followed Mack to Louisville in 2018, when Mack took over there. Fans and insiders see this as a fresh start for Boston College after a tough stretch. Murray brings solid recruiting skills from top programs. As the son of actor Bill Murray, he also adds some Hollywood flair to the Eagles bench. Earlier this week, Chris Mack made his own move, leaving Charleston to coach the South Florida bulls. That shift opened doors in the coaching carousel. With Murray stepping up, Boston College aims to rebuild quickly in the competitive Atlantic Coast Conference.
