The New York Met's just got hit with more bad news as center-fielder Louis Robert Jr. landed on the 10-day injured list with a lumbar spine disc, herniation. The 28-year-old hasn't played since the first game of a double-header against the Colorado Rockies back in late April, when lower back. He's a right-ness sidelined him, an MRI confirmed the issue, and the move is retroactive to April 27th. Team Docs gave him an epidural shot and ordered 7-10 days of rest, with hopes he can return soon after. This March's Robert's 10th injured list then since 2021, including problems with his hip, knee, wrist, hamstring, and even blurred. Vision. He only topped 110 games once, back in 2023, with the Chicago White Sox, where he smashed 38 homers and finished. 12th, an American League MVP voting.

Manager Carlos Mendoza called it frustrating for everyone involved, stressing the need to get Robert healthy the right way.
