It's their biggest yet, seating 60 inside with extra kitchen room compared to the other three locations. Folks love the cinnamon rolls most, but the menu packs breakfast bowls, paninis, wraps, salads, fresh smoothies, and all kinds of coffee and tea. Everything follows original recipes from founder Lewand Hoffman, who kicked it off baking from her Ellington home back in 1980. The biz grew from farmer's markets to brick-and-mortar spots starting in 2017, plus wholesale deals at big-wide stores, local markets, and even delivery services like modern milkmen. Firkler wants Hartford locals to dive in and build those connections over killer pastries, and Mayor Arunan Arulampalam calls it a win for small.
