LSU Lands First Commit in Wade Era

Bates, a former 4-star recruit who started at Alabama before transferring to Kentucky. This past season off the bench, he put up 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, plus an assist, deal and block per game, solid shooter 2, hitting over 50% from the field. Fans have been on pins and needles waiting for way to build something. Roster hit zero players recently, so this eases the pressure and shows patients paying off early. He set for a bigger role next year, anchoring defense and scoring inside. But LSU still needs shooters, a point guard, and a true playmaker to run the offense.
