00Wake up wake up with good vibes and variety. Oh my god. That's brilliant. We got to do that. Sarah and Vinnie Alice 97 three. Alice 97 three. Sarah and Vinnie Alice's morning show. It's Thursday. Good morning. Good morning. Hey, feeling pretty good. You know, it's been a weird week of sleep for me. What? I give up. What do you mean? I just, I don't know. I don't sleep like I used to. I know that. But well, you only get what? Five hours? Eight? No, I got, I probably got five hours. Okay. But that ain't that's just not enough for me. Oh, I need my beauty rest, Vinnie. Look at me. Well, getting on poor as well. Old lady. Grizzled is not the way to describe a human being. I'm a little grizzly. No. The kids say chopped. I'm a little chopped. They say choppy. I'm a little choppy. Chopped. And it means grizzled.

01Ugly. Okay. You know, not looking your best. Oh, Choppelganger. Yes. Exactly. You're so smart. I put it together. Wow. I will say yesterday as I was getting ready to leave. I was walking down the hall. And we walked past the, to get to the bathroom. I walked past the studios for the game. And guru is, so it's tiny and guru show because we're done. And he sees me. Guru does through the window. Come on, come on, come on, come on. So I'm like, okay, I walk in the studio and they are going crazy over a bridge again. On the air. Yeah. They're on the air. They're on the air. Pulled me in and and I think guru has a little bit of a crush on me. Because he was, he just, he has this huge smile on his face. And then as I'm leaving, he goes,

01and your hair is just flowing. Like, oh, thank you. I know. It's funny. Has he ever heard what a filthy mouth you have, too? Oh, I don't talk to everybody. I'm going to go, you know, the special secret show thing. But I mean, the secret to you, you should tell him, not to check out the secret show. You think you love me now. But they were, I guess that because I went on the morning rose to talk about how badly guru had gotten beaten. Yeah. And because here's one of the things that guru did on our show. Um, he came on and he with authority answered the question, what's the disco movie star and John Travolta from the 1970s or whatever it was. And he goes, they're like, he knows this one. And he goes Saturday night live. And he can't figure out what he's got wrong there. It's Saturday night fever. And so I went on and I had told him a story. But that was months ago. Yeah. That was like forever ago. And he, they, I guess, had just told him that I went on their show and

08made fun of a music. You're just making fun of me. And I'm like, you, they must be afraid of you because that was months ago. I'm making fun of you for months. Oh, that's funny. I know it's funny. So I thought, good. That my hair was flowy. I was, oh, my hair is flowy. Oh, you're growing those bangs out. I am. I'm gonna just let it everything go. All right. Well, yeah. That's the way I think I'm being chopped. Bangs are, you know, there's that keep with bangs. There is. And they're also just, I don't know. Sometimes I see pictures of myself with bangs. I don't know. That's kind of cute. But they are still not. Christina will ask me, I don't know, twice a year. Do you think I should, when she goes for her twice a year mom haircut? Because she has no time for normal upkeep. You think I should get bangs? You look great in bangs. But every six weeks, that's bangs. Then she goes, I got no time for that. Yeah. Well, I mean, doesn't she have scissors? I mean, nobody does that, but you.

13No, that is not true. Plenty of people are cutting their own bangs. Oh, yeah. You cut your own bangs. Yeah. Sometimes when I'm out of wedding, I get my hair done. And then I want just, you know, a couple of strands. I'll just be like, you know, would really complete this look just look. Yep. It's. I'm surprised. Well, I, I am surprised. Because it seems like you just don't know that many girls, I guess. Well, I don't, I don't hang out with a lot of people. That's for sure. I'm definitely stuck in my little. It's like, um, you know, to me, it's, it's time, it's money. It's, I just don't want to. I don't want to, I don't want to talk to anybody. I'm, I'm that person. I just, I feel like, you know, I can talk to myself in the mirror. Venti, neither of your daughters has cut, you haven't caught them cutting their own hair before school. No, they cut their hair. Every, every kid does that. Ila has, Edie never did it, but Ila has the, the right as her little sister was being born.

16So all the photos of the new baby are with Ila with half inch banks, three quarter inch banks. Oh, yeah. That's, that's amazing. So those pictures are amazing and super fun. And you look at them and you, you giggle. Like, oh, my God, that kid totally blew it. But what I'm thinking of, I, I have two daughters and they cut their hair very, like, remember when you cut your hair off? Yeah. Ever since they haven't touched their hairs now, like, wait, like, their reaction to cutting their hair was, I'm never cutting my hair again. And now they both have. Huh. So I don't know if that's temporary. They're very young and you to expect them to go through different sort of patterns. You know, long hair is kind of a trap. Like, when I was a kid, my mom gave me a haircut that I didn't like when I was really little. And I was like, I'm never cutting that again. Maybe that's it. And I didn't cut it again. Like the first legitimately, like, change of style haircut I ever got was when I went to college.

20I, yeah, I cut, I cut some banks. Like, it was that and it was really long and it would just get so straggled. Like, I was totally a tomboy. So I would, like, I've told you this at the end of every summer before I went back to school, my mom would have to comb out the dreadlocks in the back of my hair. Like, just for forever. I was such a scuzzy little kid. Do you remember the Flowy? Yeah, yeah, it was like a vacuum thing. But that's for boys, wasn't it? I don't know, but I just know that my, my mom, we didn't have any money when we, when I was real young, and I would get my hair cut by different friends all the time. And one had one of those. And it literally, like, yanked out my hair every time it went on. And I'm like, I didn't want a haircut ever again. Why didn't you just save it? I don't know. Yeah, you know, I had really big curly hair and my mom loved it. And she wanted me to keep it. Oh, okay. One of those deals. I have always shaved my head. Oh, whiffle every, every summer. They just, you know, take the clippers and go over the top. But you call it a whiffle? A whiffle. Yeah. I did that every summer.

21The army cut. Yeah, just, you know, my mom would be the ocean. I'm sure she would have loved to have done that to me rather than sit and comb my hair out. But it was hard to cut it afterward. And like, I, you know, and even after that, I always just kind of had long hair. And until I finally just went, God, I'm old. I'm going to cut all my hair off. And I do, I did like it like that. It was so easy. But my girlfriend Danielle walked in my house right after I first got in the cut, like, really short. And she just had this, like, look on her face. Oh, that's nice. I'm like, yeah, no, I'm not cute anymore. Oh, I know. She's like, no, you're still cute, but I know. That's a good friend, though. Well, it was an honest reaction, like it wasn't like, oh, that looks so good. You know, you went kind of metal in the 80s, which was a legitimate way to go. But there was also the alternative crowd. And I remember a lot. And now they call it the,

21the Karen cut, actually, but the women who would shave one side and have all the bangs. Very asymmetrical. It was very, it was kind of ascended. I didn't. I, one time I shaved the sides of my head. God, I don't even know what year that would have been. My brother was in college. So I must have been, I was probably in a band at that point. You started the metal poo. I had the big poo from the shaved sides, but not full. It wasn't like a Mohawk style. It was just maybe a couple of inches. And then I saw I shaved it. And then it broke out, like from the, you know, from having been shaved, I guess, like ingrown hairs or whatever. I was just, I was so bummed out. And then that hair has to grow back out. So now it's sticking out. It's like straight off the sides of my head. I'm like, never do that. That is a reality of that shaving the sides while you have long hair. Right. Always going to do it or just never do it. It was horrible. I've always had very long hair. Tards hard to make a change to that. I think you look super cute

28with like a little shoulder length lob. I think I'm going to do that after our wedding. Yeah. Don't make any major changes before the wedding. I would never. Those are photos you're going to look out for the rest of your life. She posted her and Susan. I think you were doing the stamp in our envelopes. I thought that was really fun. Like neat that you guys did that to get. I didn't pay any attention to that. I looked at that video and went, oh, I'm a bad husband. I didn't pay any attention to that stuff. Maybe she was happy that you didn't. Well, she was in charge for sure. She was doing it as she wanted it to go. But you guys did a little wax seal. Right. Yeah. So did you sit there melting wax and stamping the? Yes. But crafters are so smart. They make glue gun shaped wax pieces. So we just put them in the back of a glue gun. And then I could squeeze out the exact amount of wax I wanted. And then I used my little stamp. That's awesome. That is awesome. It was really fun. I love glue guns.

33Why? They're so fun. They should make a version of the glue that's way stronger for specific projects. Gorilla glue gun. Yeah. I guess I would probably get stuck in the I think so. Yeah. That's the thing with the glue being in the stick form. I love it though. I love it. I just you feel so powerful but also so peaceful because of the speed that it comes out. It's so slow. And you have to kind of get a rhythm going because it'll keep melting the stuff. And it's a whole I love that. I love. Others love glue guns. I think people love glue. That's a thing. That's a common way. You've got a glue gun. You're just like, oh, I I'll break out my glue gun. You're like a fixer. Get the glue gun out. Okay. Yeah. I like it. All right. No, you're a crafter. Can't stop. You know, I'm painting bottles now. I don't know that. Well, I am painting bottles now. And you know, like the ornaments I would make, I'm finished one and grind it off and paint it or you're finding bottles. I find bottles. I you know, it started with one bottle that I liked that like somebody brought a wine bottle

36over and I'm like, oh, my God, that's so pretty. And then I was like, oh, because I paint, you know, those little mandalas. Do you scrub the logo or the paper logo off it? I soak it. I scrub off the paper. I then glue, you know, do glue gun on and get all the little stuff off of there. And it's super pretty because when you turn the bottle around and you look at it from the back, it's just like, I don't know. It's really cool. But my workshop is bristling with bottles now. Like it's to the point where it's kind of ridiculous. Are people bringing them to you? Yes. I say that to a friend and my girlfriend goes, oh, my God, I have a crate full of old bottles. I'm like, oh, my God, give it to me. It's just fantastic. I got like these special bottle brushes because bottles are disgusting if they've been sitting around. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's just it's just too much. Oh, by the way, we got to get started here in a second. But Vinnie, I got to give you a heads up.

40Yesterday, we were supposed to have maybe blackouts. There was going to be a light us specifically on the on in this building at 88 Kerni. They were going to be doing something with the electrical. And it never happened. We didn't lose any our lights or it didn't happen on our show. On note today is they're going to be testing the fire alarm system from six to eight. And but I think it's just, I'm just warning you, there may be some strobe lights. Okay. Yeah. Just strobes. They won't just wanted you to be in the loop. Yeah. I mean, there's we all go. We don't get to say it in any of the other stuff. You know, well, you're going to do they always pick morning show hours. Yeah. The reason they do all this junk. Well, I mean that we're the ones who give it the most attention. We're not leaving. We're on the air. This can burn down around us. All right. All right. K LLC. K LLC HD. One surround Francisco, Sarah and Vinnie Alice's morning show. Oh, this has a nice long intro. I'm going to start with the first pitch. It wasn't one we thought.

43And some dirty DMs that are probably fake, but fun. Kind of fun. See you in a second. Start your day off the right way. Oh, it's Sarah and Vinnie. Wake up. Wake up with Alice, 973.
