00Wake up wake up with good vibes and variety. Oh my god. That's brilliant. We got to do that. Sarah and Vinnie. Alice 97 three. Alice 97 three. Sarah and Vinnie. Alice's morning show. It's Tuesday. It's St. Patrick's Day. Where is all your green? I Complete even though I prepped at my house and saw that it was St. Patrick's Day and even reminded everyone in this room multiple times yesterday. I walked out in wearing a reason color. Well, you're asking for it. You know that, right? I already got pinched by Maddie. I'm all set. The pinching is over. It was gentle. He did gently pinch me on the butt though. So it was not on the butt. Where was it? Hey, jar. Oh my god. Also, no Bob today. Bob apparently was, you know, she got sick and whistler.
04Managed to come in here. Glad I didn't hug her. I don't think I did. Well, it's just cross our fingers that we didn't all catch that. Right. And that one day will be sufficient because we have a busy week. Well, let me clarify. You guys have a busy week. We don't. Mason's coming in tomorrow. So that'll be really fun. I love Mason. She's a, she's our midday girl. You won't be here. I'll listen though. You will? I will. I'll listen to all the shows you guys did a couple of weeks ago. I didn't. You didn't. I mean, that's your call. You can. I was here. Yes. So I'm very hyper. I feel like you were in it of the places where I've made mistakes. I don't need to go back over it. I am hoping. I feel them coming out of me as they happen and I make a note. Well, that was terrible. Well, that was unfortunate.
06That job guy. They can maybe take that out in the post. We're our own worst critics. But no, I'm actually it's going to be all good. It's all good. We had we all pause for coffee at the same time. San Francisco makeover. I'm on the French roast now. That's the best. I was on the fog chaser. I was on fog chaser. I finished that. I opened a crack. By the way, I don't know if this is your experience at all. The bags open clean, which is outrageous for coffee. Did you have? Have you noticed this? I did. I was like, that was the easiest bag of coffee I've ever opened. Now, we have the big bags. So I don't know if maybe the smaller ones are just as annoying as the other. But I have prior to starting a relationship with San Francisco Bay coffee. I always got something from Costco, the big bags. And they just tear to smithereens with holes in them.
11And there's the tape. And there's the right. You're trying to pull it apart. And it's like it's like the seal is an inch thick. Anyway, I opened up the French roast and started that today. And it is good. Really good. And you just like pop open a bag and the smell of coffee hits you in the face. And it doesn't spray out. It's fall out the side. Well, this bag, we have to leave this on its side the whole time. I tore down the side of it. I keep my coffee in the freezer. And it's you do? Yeah. Is that good? It's supposed to keep it fresher. We do that. That people do. That's what I do. Do you do that? No. I don't. I just talk for a second. Okay. Oh, yeah, I looked that up. But my freezer has beans all over it because of bad bags that I've opened. No, listen, it's a simple thing. It's a small thing. It's a big thing, actually. But it is, it's important. Like it's, we're all used to, you know, I mean, with all the technology we have in this world. Bad news, Maddie. What?
15Storing coffee in the freezer is generally not recommended for daily use as it can introduce moisture odors and cause flavor destroying temperature cycles. Uh-oh. While it can extend the shelf life of bulk beans. That's what I have. For one to two months, it requires airtight vacuum sealed, portioned packaging to prevent damage. You're damaging your coffee. I do grinds. So grounds. I don't know. I guess I'm going to stop the one guy. Well, no, it says you do ground as well. I thought you did beans. I don't have it. One of those grinders that's they're loud. Those grinders are loud. If you have a family sleeping and you really don't want to wake them up. Right. If we're not to have any interaction with you. When I've had to do that, I put dish towels over it to muffle it. I try really hard. They don't try it all. But for some reason, they had night, I mean. Yes. And then in the morning, I try very hard. So inconsiderate. Well, Fred likes the sound.
18It means he's going out. Oh, he hears it. And he's like, ah, welcome. Go now. You set up the coffee and then you walk them on the coffee's brewing. Yeah. Nicely done. That is nice. Oh, coffee. You really do make everything better. It's always so funny. We've met so many kids over the years here. And by kids, I mean, people in college for internships or just young people trying to get into radio. And so many of them are like, no, coffee. No, no, no. And by the time they are done with this and they've gone and got us coffee 50 times or whatever we've whatever exposure they've had, they're all coffee drinkers after us because it's the best. And it's like part of the ritual that makes the morning special to me. I feel like if it wasn't for that, I'd probably cry every morning. But thank you, San Francisco Bay coffee for drying my tears. You still cry. I know it sucks. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm like, I'll tell you what, three a.m.
21I don't know if you guys got outside yesterday. Oh, yeah. And I know spring is not even here yet. I know. It's this Friday. But yesterday was summer at my house, summer, fall on summer. In fact, on the drive home, after looking for surf all weekend and getting skunked because of the the winds and whatever, I got to go on the ocean yesterday. There was no wind, water, like totally cleared up and was blue and warm. The sun was out. It was just one of those days where you go, this is why you pay whatever it costs to live in California because it was just beautiful. And more today, even warmer today. Yeah. Today's the warmest. Today's from what I've seen today's should be the warmest. 87 here in the city. Incredible. Wow. That's like poor Bob languishing at home and bed in a hot apartment in a hot apartment.
23Yeah, but poor Bob partied her ass off and whistler over the weekend and earned every bit of this cold. By the way, we talked about this a little bit yesterday. How she was, you know, her big bar trick, I guess is balancing a beer on top of her head. And the pictures and videos and we got her, she put them up on her account, which is Bob on the waves. And she's a, she's a good follow because she knows all the trends. And she's always doing the latest tick tocky thing. And then she puts it on her Instagram. You could follow her. I think she's also Bob on the way. It's on tick tock too. Yeah, I don't know about tick tock. Yeah, I'm not going there. It is, I have made a conscious decision also to not live on tick tock. I've, you know, there's this, there's this new party killer and it's your phone and it's not even new. But when someone starts by saying, oh, I've got this video I want you to watch it. I've got to see this tick tocky and I just, I'm like, the party comes to a crashing
26hall and then everyone pulls their phone. Oh, God, after you're done with yours, I'm going to show you mine. Oh, I just feel like, I mean, I don't want to be the person who's like phones are banned because I already told, I told everyone that I hang out with regularly years ago, like no posting anything from any of these parties. No, you tell them that. Yes. Well, they know. And I mean, they're cool. And you know, Mike Borden also doesn't want pictures of himself having a good old time. I mean, he's very serious all the time. He never does anything that would be untoward. But if he did, he wouldn't want it caught on camera. But I just, I just don't want that because I like to, you know, I grew up in a time where you had all the fun you wanted and there was no record of it the next day, like none. There was nothing. And if someone did have a camera, everyone was like, but now we're all, we're just in it. I'm like the last. There's only in my life that I know of. There's probably more and I don't want to see them. This is not a question.
28Do not answer whatever you think I'm asking. I am not asking. Oh, there's only one photo in my life that I, that I saw a paper photo where I went. The one with you with stuff drawn all over you in Mexico. No, no, no, no, there was no photo of that. But oh, well, there were photos of that. I don't, those, I wasn't in possession of any of those. Oh, no, those are floating around out there. There are new photos of me from Mexico where I passed out and they were, it doesn't matter. The point is sharpied all over you. They gave those photos and a shot to the people who came into our room. That was like the, the party trick. Hey, come in here and post with them. They were, they were doing a whole thing. So many, many people have these shots. No one's got them. They threw them away. What I have though is someone handed me a paper photo and it was me and a friend and it was just, it can never be seen. It was not sexual in any way. It was partying and it was just one of those things where I was like,
30if there's any more of this, I need that torn up to, like I just, but one, one photo and all of the partying and good times I've had. There was only one where I went. Who took that and why would you? I've got a question for you all. Yeah, I didn't know how to respond to this. I had a lady friend over and she took a picture of my, my dog and like her cup of coffee and posted it on her Instagram. Didn't tag me or anything, but it was kind of weird. Like, I wasn't sure like how to like, should I be upset about that or not? And I was just like, oh, I saw you posted that. Just kind of like, oh, and she's like, should I take it down? I'm like, no, it's fine, I guess, but I don't know. Is that weird? No. Or am I being, I'm being weird. I don't think you're being weird. I don't think there's anything weird about it. I don't, I don't know actually, because I'd be, I'd be bummed if like my pet in your coffee, where I don't know. I feel like there's no, I don't know. Listen to me. I'm going to tell you guys
33how to jet, jet, please. Yes. Did it strike you immediately as wrong? Or you just, I didn't, I was surprised to be scrolling on Instagram and see my dog like on somebody else's Instagram. And like, it was, yeah, it was a little, I thought I was asking you a question. Have that lady in the last, I don't know, 10 hours shared her body with you in any way, shape, or form? That's me. Yes. Maybe. Yeah. I think you're being a little uptight, bro. Okay. She gave you all the stuff. Oh, I didn't, you know, I was cool about it. I just didn't know if I was like, you were the background posing in front of a full length mirror naked. Sounds discrete enough. And she's, you know, saying I'm having a lovely morning. I've enjoyed myself at a friend's house overnight. Any, you know, followers of mine who are wondering. Here's where I'm at. I'm at my man's house. And I just got service soundly.
34Is that the girl you were kind of seeing for a while there? And did this happen recently? It was a photo from the first time she came over. But she didn't post it to like a week ago. Like, it was, she's kind of photo dumps. And I guess she, you know, she just posts a whole bunch of stuff. Yeah. Now, I mean, it did not affect anything. Like, I'm, I'm, we're cool. Like, I, I, you are, you guys are cool. Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know that was ongoing. It's, you know, you're saying Patrick's Day plans with her? No, no, she's a weekday. I don't do anything on weekday. You know, travel to, there's no bag drop on a weekday. Yeah. Come on. Don't ask me, you know, yeah, I want for the guy I want. I understand what you're saying. To me, if something smacks me as absolutely wrong, then I would probably say something. Otherwise, I often will go, you're being weird. That's myself. That's what I said to myself. You're being weird. Just chill. That is no big deal. It's, it's, it's a random dog to everybody else. You know, it's not like people are like,
37oh, that dog. People gonna ask, who's that dog? It's bad. It's, you know, Maddie from this air mini show. Well, the other day I was walking, I'm taking Fred out of the dog park and like, there's this whole chamber of commerce that are doing tour of our building and our neighborhood. And the head of the chamber of commerce walks everyone goes, is that Fred? And I'm like, yeah? And she, and then she's like, oh, I listen every day. And I'm like, oh, okay. Yeah. This is where I live. Would you like to know what apartment number are? Yeah. She was delightful and very nice and loves the show and everything. No, no, no. But it was funny that she didn't say, hey, Maddie, it was, hey, is that Fred? She knew it was Maddie already. Yeah. All right. Kelsey, Kelsey, HD one San Francisco ceremony. Alice's a morning show. We're gonna play a song here. This one, you may be familiar with because it was just performed at the Oscars. And everyone went all crazy with their little lights and wristbands. It was fun. And we'll have some Oscar follow up for you right after this song on Alice 973.
43Okay. Back to zero. Yeah. Back to zero. Hold on. What's happening? I'm just, I suck at life. I just nailed the post. I know. Yeah. That was great. And then I must say, I either hit the wrong button or it's like, should I blame the computer? I'm gonna, I think I'll go blame the computer. Let me just paste this back in here. Don't worry. That whiteboard will be full of zeros in the next three days. I'm running the board. Yeah. That'll be good. Yeah. We're gonna do the best we can. No, it's gonna try and entertain the people. I would like for you to come back and see lots of numbers on that board. That'd be great. Yeah. I was actually, I almost jinxed us. Maybe I should have done it. And then I wouldn't have screwed up so bad. But I was gonna say that if we, I would like to come back and have it say five days without a mistake. Like that you need to pick that. But now we're going back to zero. All right. Here's that song. Wake up. Wake up with good vibes and variety. Oh my god. That's brilliant. We got to do that. Sarah and Vinnie. Alice 973
