the under-explored pockets of F1, including the story of the woman who last participated in a

Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of the on-purpose podcast. My latest episode is with Noah Khan,
the singer-songwriter behind the multi-platinum global hit, Stick Season,
on one of the biggest voices in music today. Talking about the mental illness stuff,
it used to be the thing that I was ashamed of. Getting to talk about this is not common for me.
Right now, I need it more than ever.
Listen to on-purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get
your podcasts. Hey, it's Nora Jones, and my podcast playing along is back with more of my favorite

Yeah, I would definitely like the phantom in that. That's so funny.

If you haven't heard the loser line before, it works like this. Let's say someone approaches you
when you're at the club, and uses this charming pickup line on you.
Oh god, I need to go outside for some air.
Don't step on the tube connected to his oxygen tank.
Instead, reach over and press his life alert button, and tell him once you're done with him,
he's definitely going to be in cardiac arrest.
And that's when you slip the number to the loser line, so hopefully he calls it,
and leaves an awkward voicemail that we can play on the air.
Voicemails like this one.
Mark's method. Hi, this is Kat.
Something you should probably know is like that newly single.
You know, I'm just putting myself back out there now.
You really seem really nice, so I figured, why not? Let me just give this a try.
How do I end this call?
Oh god, I haven't been this confused because they put in those card readers at the gas station.
I'm just going to press all the buttons until something happened.
I think the time just ran out after like 15 minutes, that's what a voicemail from my mom would
sound like if she ever became single, except it would go on for 30 minutes.
I was like so rooting for her. She did so well.
Someone just needs to teach her that and button the big red one.
She's never made a phone call before.
Mark's method. Hi, this is Kat and the magician from the bar last night.
You left the show before the show started.
So you missed all the fun, but I thought maybe just for you, I could do some magic
over the phone. Give you a little, give you a little private showing.
Okay, so as you can see, I've got, well, you can't see, but okay, so just imagine, just think,
hey, I have a yellow fuzzy ball. It's in my hand.
Normal ball, something special. I give it a tap and another tap and
poof, it's gone, damaged. And what's that behind your ear?
Look, it's a missy ball. Anyway, I'd love to show you these in person and
who knows, maybe I'll make your clothes disappear. No, I'm kidding, no. Ta-da!
That's the most unconfident magician I've ever heard.
If you're looking for his services, though, just google awkward perverted magician online.
This can be a business model. Yeah, call people 30 minute shows. Okay, now imagine I'm
sawed in half. You get crazy, right? Wait, I'm levitating. Let's not ruin his magic,
but speaking of perverted magicians, have you been to our Instagram before?
Wow. A car digital producer, Jake, says that's where the real fans live.
Hey, that is where the real magic happens. For sure, you can not only follow the show there,
but you'll get exclusive clips of us doing silly things all around the office.
Yeah, and you can actually see them. Yeah, the other big podcasters don't do that.
No, they don't. Suck it, Joe Rogan. Yeah, he's not wacky enough.
What are you bringing that silly? No, man, nobody's silly like we are.
And we post our loser line clips favorite ones of the week every single week.
So go find us at broken jeffery. Just like lust and subscribe. Now back to the clips.
Next message. Yo, I see my buddy Kirk, he gave me your number.
I thought you were cute and sorry, hold on a second.
Sorry about that. I just slow. Okay, um, okay, I'm sorry.
I was just curious about, um, uh, oh man, what are they going to ask you?
I just, where I had a reason for calling. I guess, have you like, have you done whippets before?
Like those little, like the tannister thing?
Uh, like the whole lot.
Um, okay, so sorry you still, you still there? Um, I was gonna ask you,
have you ever done whippets before?
They're, they're way more fun than I remember them being.
Oh, that would be one.
That made it most unsexy drug use.
You heard the sexy ones. That one didn't meet your bar.
I did appreciate that it was his buddy who gave him the loser line.
I don't know if you guys caught that.
Is there any chance we can invite this guy to our next show dinner?
Just to like spice things up a little bit. He won't remember to come.
Next message. Hey, uh, hey, bud. It's your uncle Bob.
Your mom wanted me to leave you this message.
Because he just did your, um, did that, what the piano was, I don't think.
And, uh, she sent me the video of it and just, uh, wow, dude, you've got, uh,
or you've got some big moves on the keys there. It was, uh, oh god, what do you guys call it?
It was, um, vibes, yeah, no, no, big, uh, big, uh, big vibes.
Uh, I love you, buddy. Stay groovy.
Yeah, Uncle Bob. How?
Is that how you do it?
Everybody's doing whippets on this.
Poor uncle. Yeah, but I get it. That's going to be me like, I've already talked about that.
Your sister's going to give you the loser like, stop calling.
Remember, hit up and subscribe to our YouTube at broken jeffery where we post all of our content,
our second dates, phone tabs and video recordings of us live reacting in studio while doing
whippets to all of those rely on clips of the week. We've got a phone tab coming up right after this.
