Central Ohio Technical College has launched the Likin County Promise program offering free

tuition eligible residents. Applicants most have lived in the county at least a year, have

a household income of $100,000 or less, and enroll in an approved program. The scholarship

does not cover books or fees. Christopher McInterf of Newark faces 25 to 60 years in prison

for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material after allegedly using a cash

app to buy it. McInterf previously served 10 years in prison following a 2011 conviction

for rape and sexual battery. A sentencing date has not been set.

Hillier leaders say the Orangebury Water Tower will be out of service through May 31st

for scheduled maintenance, including repainting. The tower is located near Sugar Run Drive

and Orangebury Road. Residents may notice brief periods of low water pressure, but no

shutoffs are playing. I'm Eric Brown reporting.
