0:00It's April 3rd, Vancouver news today starts now, AI powered and ready. Owen Sound Police made a routine traffic stop early on April 3rd in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue East, and a quickly turned into a big bust. The driver, a 26 year old local man, had clearly been drinking, so they had him blow into a roadside breath tester and he failed it hard, that led to his arrest on the spot for impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He got hauled to the station, but refused to give another breath sample to the tech there. Piling on even more charges against him. Now he's facing license suspension for 90 days, and his car is impounded for a full week, a tough lesson in staying sober behind the wheel.
