LIVE REACTION: Team List Tuesday Round 2

0:00Inside Can I guys welcome back to the roadie league guru podcasts. We have just had the teamless drop for round two. We're going to go through and give you our live reaction to all of those. On Thursday night, we have got the Brisbane Broncos taking on the Parrot Matter eels for the Brisbane Broncos. No enormous changes here. We have seen Ezra Mair named in the five eight role once again. He obviously came off the bench last week. So I'm sort of anticipating that change to happen again. I guess it's not what I would do. It's a very interesting tactic by Michael McGuire. We'll see how that plays out. Essentially,

1:05the extended bench is the same. You just got the Blake Moser, Delby's hoarder and Tom Duffy, who are added to the extended. But I think outside of that, this Broncos side is essentially the same. Corey Jensen and Payne Haas in the front row. Pax will start in the night. Jack Goll is Ricky on the edges. No sign of Brendan Peer Curie yet. And then your bench Ben Hunt, Xavier Willis and Ben Tolty and Oblix Taffer with Grand Anderson Jaden Hunt, the other guys on the six man bench there. So yeah, outside of that, no real changes to the Broncos side for the eels are obviously Jermaine Hopgood. He is out with a one game suspension. You've also got Sean Russell. He moves into the center spot. He replaces Brian Kelly. You struggled a little bit last week defensively. As did everyone though to be fair. But Josh O'Kah, he's the big in. He returns on the wing. So Fox will be on the left wing. I imagine that means Sean Russell will play left center outside of that. The backline remains the same. In the forward pack, Jack Williams, he moves into the front row to partner. Junior Bolo in the front row, obviously with the suspension to Jermaine Hopgood, which

2:08means that Kalmatoa Lungi, he gets his opportunity on the edge there, joined by Katoga, Jack Debellon in the 13 still. They're benched still on Walker, Tuivati, Dury, De Silva, Gimer and Papa Lee. Obviously, Joe Ash was put on the field last week for 10 minutes. We spoke about it in our review. I think that was a poor decision as a whole from Jason Riles. I'm keen to see how coaches are obviously managing this moving forward. The other ones to watch. Obviously, Jersey 2021 and 22 on the extended there. Sam Rani, Brian Kelly and Luca Mareti. I watched the Gimerati play. And you know, I was cut last week to put it simply. He was a level above. I'm expecting him to come into this side pretty soon. If not this weekend, realistically. All right, let's move to the Friday night games. He can off at 6 p.m. from Auckland with the wires taking on the Raiders. This one's going to be an absolute cracker. For the Warriors, the back line remains the same off the back of their win last week. Harris, Tavator and Tana Boyd lining up in the halves together once again, fish and forward in the front row, Egan in the nine, Cape Bull and Leibharn will start

3:11on the edges with Clark in the 13. They're benched herely by Munga, Luca Halassema, Stau and Smith. So we've got Taves of picking Morgan Ganon there. No real changes. The only thing I would take note of is that Marata near Kaurai, his in Jersey, 22, named on the extended, extended bench there. I wouldn't be shocked to see him coming to this side over the next few weeks. For the Raiders, nothing enormous here outside of Josh Puppoli. We knew that he would be suspended in this game. So what that means is Morgan Smithies. He starts in the front row for the Camber Raiders. Smithies in the front row, the rest of the starting forward pack remains the same. Hudson Young on one edge, Noah Martin on the other horse Brent 13, the bench, Jaden Braille, Zach Hossing at a Marriota, Maddie Timoco in Jersey 17, which is interesting. I don't know if that tells you anything, or whether he's just stepping straight into the Jersey of Morgan Smithies there, but Timoco in the 17, actually on the six man bench this week, he's joined by Dane Laurie and Joe Roddy who had a good game in New South Wales. Carpet Tricecoring forward, not that they need any more to be fair.

4:13Be a Maddie Timoco. Interesting to see whether that means he's back into the rotation. The extended bench in Jersey 20 to 22. You got Owen Paddy, Jed Stewart and Chevy Stewart as well to Stewart's there, spelt differently. Chevy actually playing center last week in New South Wales Cup and had a pretty good game as well to be fair. Owen Paddy had a good game to add hook up. The late game on Friday. I know I got the chooks taking on the South Sydney rubbados for the roosters. One enormous change. Rob Toya returns in the center, so Paulga drops out of this side. So Teddy at fullback, Tupes on one wing, Mark on the other Billy Smith and Toya in the centers. Daly Cherry Evans at 5.8, Sam Walker in the seven, Naff White and Lindsey Collins start in the front row. Beniobe in the nine again, Angus Crichton on the left. Big news here. Naff Butcher made a stack of tackles last week. He's actually been swapped for CY Wong, who I thought was fantastic through the middle. I'm in a tack. I like it defensively. I've spoke about it all the last week or so with DCE. I have my concerns about him on that edge. Obviously get Toya back. We get Wong there

5:13as well. Now I love Wong. Don't get me wrong, but I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that Naff Butcher's probably the better defensive player. So once again, new combinations, DCE's first time defending for a full game in the NRL as a motorbike goes past as fast as it possibly can. Shout out if you guys can hear that. CY Wong, obviously defending with DCE for the first time, Rob Toya back into the side. That'll just be interesting for the Roosters. Egan Butcher also lining up in Jersey 13. Blake Steep started it last week for 30 odd minutes. If Egan's only going to play the opening 30, I actually don't mind that decision. The bench, Connor Watson, Blake Steep, Nat Butcher, Faketty, Cody Ramsey and Palgar with the Rodwell boys on the extended with Los Salos. So a few interesting changes there for the Roosters coming up against his sassy side that as we know, absolutely stacked on that left edge. For the bunnies, the backline, it remains the same outside of the 7 jersey. Obviously Ash Ward got injured last week. So Bud Sullivan gets his opportunity to play half back for the sassy rabbit nose. Interesting watch next week. You've obviously got Humphreys returning from suspension. The forward park remains the same. Bronson

6:17Gallagher will start in the 9 once again for theater and 8 can more remain on the edges can Murray in the 13. Thought it was interesting 8 can started on the edge last week. They moved in the middle and I thought it was fantastic in the middle. So I wouldn't be surprised to see a late change over the next few weeks between those two. Pete Mammazell is off the bench with Talestunk and Lockley Humbler Sean Kepi. Let's see what gets his first nod on the bench there as well. Hopefully he gets on the field at some point and Graham Tafel are in jersey 19 as well. I don't think you'll see any changes to that sassy side. The biggest rivalry that rugby league has to offer. That one's going to be an absolute cracker at 8 p.m. on Friday. And maybe just maybe we see a bit of history made with Alex Johnson. All right. Let's move to Super Saturday. The West Tigers. Our first look at them this season playing at like heart oval 3 p.m. against the North Queensland Cowboys. Let's go through this tiger side from 1 to 19. I wonder what is it? 1 to 19. Yeah, 1 to 19. We have got Dream Buller lining up at fullback on one wing. Teruva on the other wing. Luke Low Lilly. Very interesting. I know what you

7:21super coaches are thinking. Makacini has you missed the side. No. He's lining up at the center. So Taylor may or bit left center. I assume that means that Makacini will be at right center, which means he might get a few offloads from Kuype's Paul. That edge, which is very exciting. Drome the light. 5.8 Adam Dewey in the 7. Starting in the front row. Teruva may fantastic to see his name pop up. He got an infection last week. He's had a few dramas and whatnot. But it's out like Teruva has gone a little bit underground this off season because it all got a bit big for him last year. I can't wait to see him get back out there again, hopefully playing enormous minutes. He'll line up with Fnore Bolley in the front row and Appy in the 9. Similar to Fnore, he'll be on the left edge and Kuype's Paul making his West Tigers debut on the right edge. Alex 12 will lock the scrum in Jersey 13. The bench for the West Tigers, you've got Jock Madden. See only Fnore Royce Hunt, Alex C. Farth, Tristan Hope and Jorral Skeleton. Maverick Guy, Tony Sikar and Heath Mason are their extended guys that I believe will drop out of this squad. So yeah, Fnore West Tigers, big news there. Makasini is in the round one side. He will line up

8:21at center in this game. Lukla Lilly on the wing and Kuype's Paul, you assume, on the right edge for the West Tigers for the Cowboys. Scotty Drinkwater obviously had the rib injury in Las Vegas. Looks like he is good to go. Burns has been named on the wing. No, I believe he has got a suspension. They might be fighting it tonight. So you'll probably see a late change there with Braden Burns, but wonder what's that's right. That's how I assume that situation has played out. Maverick, along you on the wing, you got Purdue and Tom Chester in the centers. Once again, Jackie Clifford at 5-8. Tom did an ad halfback, Cohen Heston, Tom Blower in the front row, Marnie at 9. Heelam Lukie and Macintyre on the edges. Once again, Rubin Cotter in the 13. The bench for the Cow, Sonny Luke, Coyote, Donald Griffin name, Maddie Lodge, Liam Sutton, and Ethan King. Keep an eye on Ethan King if he gets on the third. Impressed me in trials. Then you got the on the extended bench, Rob Derby, Harrison Edwards, and Caden Lars. There for the North Queensland Cowboys. So yeah, we'll wait and see. Obviously Tom McCaley out of that side. I was coming off the bench, got injured in Vegas and the other one to watch

9:22is Braden Burns. I think you'll see a late change there or a change midweek with Braden Burns dropping out of the side. All right, Dragons. Melbourne Storm 530 Saturday from Win Stadium for the Dragons. The backline remains the same as it did in Los Vegas. Super Coach Chibi set it to remaining his spot. I thought it was really good in this game as well. Dan Atkinson still in the half-back row. Gullar and Toby Couchman in the front row, Cookie in the 9. Le Lua and Sua on the edges. Hamish Stewart lines up in Jersey 13. The bench, harm cell A. Josh Kerr, Blake Lowry, Ryan Couchman, King Tonga, and David Valle. Big watch on Ryan Couchman for Super Coach players out there. The guys on their extended extended. Jacob Hullingar, who Matt Fanguy and Tyrell Sloan. All right, let's move to the Melbourne Storm lineup. A couple of small changes here. Obviously, Alec McDonald out with a HIA. So we have got some changes in the forward back there. The backline, it remains the same. Sua lining up at Fullback. Will Warbrick on one wing. Nick Meni on the other. Leo and Howe in the

10:23centers. The Money Man, Munster at 5.8. Huzi in the 7. Stefano in the front row with Josh King, Granite. No, I'm what a game he had last week. Jo Chen and LaSati retain their edge spots. And Tui Kamikamita, he will line up in Jersey 13 with the injury to Alec McDonald. But Trent Leru, he is obviously due back next week from suspension. I assume Alec McDonald will be back next week as well. The bench, Tyrell, Michelle Cooper, Clark, Jack Heatherington, making his Melbourne Storm debut. Good to see. David Moirely, Preston Conn and Sua Luggie there, if they need an outside back. Worth noting though, sitting in Jersey 21 on the extended bench is Sean Bloor. So it seems like he is available this week. We'll wait and see if he does come back for the Melbourne Storm. That'll be a big watch if he does for Supercurch players when it comes to those guys on the edges. We'll also keep an eye out as the weekend plays out whether he is playing reserve grade or not Sean Bloor. That'll be an interesting little watch for Supercurch players. Hugo Peele also there on the extended for the Melbourne Storm, likely to drop out though.

11:25Saturday 5, sorry, 7.35, the late game, the Penny Panthers and the Sharks for the Panthers. The back line remains the same. Now, I said on Blake the other day that Isaac Tungo was injured. I apologize guys. He actually played reserve grade. I had no idea of that. I'm actually reading back the text I got from someone at Penroth in hindsight. I completely misread it. Sorry, I assumed information within it that yeah, he is not injured. I think he's just been dropped from the side all together. So Tom Jenkins lines up on the wing poor alimony in the centres as they lined up last week. The forward park remains the same. The Bench Jack Cogga, Billy Phillips, Scotty Sorenson, Kalani going and then Isaac Tungo sitting in Jersey 18. But once again, he did it play reserve grade on the weekend. So optics not great there for poor old Isaac Tungo. We had time to make this decision. We've spoken about it at last few years that he's had defensive problems at different points throughout the season. But yeah, it just seems like a way for throughout the season's previous. And he's just backed him in all the way. An interesting time to make that

12:27decision for the sharkies. I believe looking at this, they are wonders of any of the back of their game last week. Still no sign of Teague Wilton. Obviously, Ken McKinnis still a number of weeks away. I think they are the same as what they were last week. I don't think there's any changes here for the Kranala Sharks. Just the yeah, I think they're the same. And I mean, after their performance last week, why would you change anything? You've still got Mootala out till the back end of the season. As we said, Ken McKinnis back in a couple of months. And yeah, Teague Wilton, I imagine he'll be back in round three or round four. But the sharkies, they were lined up the same as what they did last week. Big test for the sharkies that game. Looking forward to seeing how they go. The Manly Seagulls and the Newcastle Knights 405 PM on Sunday. This one's coming you from Brookfowl over for the Manly Seagulls. A couple of changes here to their side. The back line, it remains the same. No changes. The forward pack though. Obviously, you have got Takiyaho ruled out. So Kobe Hetherington, he starts in the front row. He will partner Tanayala Perseca.

13:28The edges Ola Kwata and Burbo, Jerbo, still in Jersey 13. The bench now, Joey Walsh, Nathan Brown, Ethan Bullamore, Paul Bryan gets his opportunity. Brandon Wake him is there and as he is outside back, Josh Felady. So Corey Wadell actually drops out of the side. The only other one to watch is Lafay, who I haven't I've only seen him in the trials. I believe he had a HIA last week. Hence why he didn't play first grade or reserve grade. But he's in Jersey 22. I would imagine with the Takiyaho injury, it had probably been their best interest to chuck him on the bench for the Seagulls. So one to watch their a super coach cheapy to keep an eye on as well over the next few weeks if he gets the opportunity for the Newcastle Knights. Obviously, fletch a sharp out of this game, replaced by Sand on Smith. Outside of that, the back line remains the same, Kendra C Sand on Smith. I thought he was really well when he came on in Vegas on that left side. Set up a nice little try. Fort Brabham and Best by AKP. Dill Brown, who remained in the 7 on the right hand side. Jacob Saifetti and Trey Muni up front. Phoenix in the 9. Dill Lucas and

14:29Jermaine McHillin on the edges. Then Tyson, Brazil and Jersey 13. Now, if you have a look at the bench for the Newcastle Knights, Thomas Kant, Maddy Croca, Pasami Solo, Fletcher Hunt, your Francis there and Harrison Graham. So still no sign of another hooker there, realistically. Maybe Thomas Kant could jump in there for a little bit. But I'm going to assume, based on that, that Phoenix is playing 80 minutes once again, which probably isn't a huge shock to anyone, realistically. You have got Harrison Graham there. Sorry, he is a 9. So he could jump on and play a bit of 9. And then I assume Phoenix would go into the 13 role. So if you jumped on Phoenix Crossroom with me in Super Coach, I kind of think that that's a good sign once again. Guys on their extended, Tyson Gamble, Cody Hopwood and James Schiller, three guys that came over to Vegas, but didn't feature. All right, let's have a look at the last game of the week. The dolphins and the Titan 615 PM from up there at Suncorp Stadium. Hopefully we get a slightly better truck up there this time for the dolphins. Couple of big ins on their bench here. You've got the return

15:31of Max Plath in Jersey 14 and you've also got the return of race stone in Jersey 17. So watch on those two Ken to see Maxy Plath back. Outside of that, I don't think there's any other changes to this dolphin side. Obviously Kurt Donahoe was named last week, but he's got a hamstring injury. So Schneider will start in the 9 once again. Outside of that, no real changes for this dolphin side. For the Titans, credit to him. They obviously got their ass handed to him last week. They're backing in the same side. I don't think they've got any changes to their team. So giving all those guys another opportunity, I'm keen to see how they respond. It is the same 19 that was named last week. No changes, no end or anything like that. So Josh Hanna is giving his boys an opportunity to respond with this early in the season when they've had three or four months to prepare. I kind of back. Let's see how the Titans respond because my god, they do need a big response off the back of that very poor performance last week.
