På brottsplatsen hittas både hans DNA och andra spår som kopplar honom till dådet. Dagen innan mordet försöker han även få en kvinnlig joggare att följa med honom. När polisens teori om hans motiv klarnar, blir bilden av brottet ännu mörkare.
