Linderbaum to Raiders: Record-Breaking Contract for Center
About this episode
Tyler Linderbaum, the star center for the Baltimore Ravens, is joining the Las Vegas Raiders after agreeing to a record-breaking three-year, eighty-one million dollar contract. The Raiders, with the most salary cap space in the league, are spending big this offseason to rebuild their team. Linderbaum, a Pro Bowl player since his second year, is expected to strengthen the Raiders interior linemen. The Ravens chose not to pick up his fifth-year option, leading to his departure. With Linderbaum secured, the Raiders now set their sights on a franchise quarterback to complete their turnaround.

Tyler Linderbaum is leaving the Baltimore Ravens after four years to join the Las Vegas Raiders. The Star Center agreed to a $3.81 million contract with $60 million guaranteed. That average annual value sets a new record for Interior Alignment. The Raiders had the most salary cap space in the league at $110.7 million, heading into the week. They are spending big this offseason to rebuild after years of tough seasons. Linderbaum was a standout since the Ravens drafted him 25th overall in 2022. He earned pro bowl honors in his second year and repeated in 2024 and 2025 with top five grades in past protection and run blocking last season. Baltimore chose not to pick up his fifth year option worth $23.4 million for 2026. Even so, team leaders had hoped to keep him long term before the Raiders outbid them.
Now with the top center locked in, Las Vegas eyes are franchise quarterback next. They seem poised to target the draft's top prospect at the position to complete their turnaround.
