Lime E-bikes & Scooters Launch in West Midlands

They officially launched on April 7th outside Aston University, kicking off a micro-mobility service across the West Midlands. It's all at-based, no docking hassles for most spots, and aimed at getting folks peddling or scooting more. The early vibes are solid, with Lyme pushing the boost cycling and scooter rides long term. These poor for West Midlands picked them after a tough bidding war earlier this year, and get this. It's free for taxpayers saving 1.4. Million pounds annually that used to go to old cycle hires. Riders got to be 18 or older, and scooters need a valid UK driving license. E-bikes are a fresh model fleet, wide, unlockable via the Lyme app on your phone. Scooters stick to roads and cycle lanes. No sidewalks, available now in Birmingham and University of Warwick spots. Racing stays simple.

1:00One pound unlock fee plus 20 pence per minute, locked in for two years. Grab passes like 30 minutes for 2 pounds 99 pence, up to 300 minutes for 19 pounds 90. Just scan, ride, park and ab zones, or phase speeds if you mess it up.
