The Tampa Bay Lightning just picked up veteran right-winger Corey Perry from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a second-round pick in 20-26. This trade brings the 40-year-old forward back to Tampa for a second run with the team. Perry previously suited up for the Lightning during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. Known for his smarts on offense and gritty style, he first got drafted in the first round back in 2003 by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. This season, Perry has 11 goals and 17 assists in 50 games. Over his long career, he has racked up 459 goals and 963 points across several teams. In playoffs, he boasts 64 goals in 237 games, including a Stanley Cup win in 2007.
