Don't play yourself, okay? Pull up. Then she says, have you seen a photo of my son? And I'm like, who is this person? Welcome to The Boys and Girls podcasts. A ranged marriage is basically a reality show and you're auditioning for your soulmate and who's judging. Only your entire family, I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition hoping to find love the right way and instead I found chaos, comedy and a lot of cringe. Listen to boys and girls on the iHard Radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. What? Let's get in the askers by the way. Yeah, that's cool. You know that you wouldn't ask her. That's the biggest one, right? Do you know if you wouldn't ask her, you can never sell it. You have to sell it back to the academy. Why would you sell it though?
01That's crazy to me. That's crazy to me. That's crazy to me. That'd be cool though. That's insane to me if you would. It's not good to sell it, but what if you got an Oscar that you could hang up? Like, hey, here, I just, I won the Oscar. I have the Oscar for a movie. That'd be cool to have in your living room. I know that. To buy it on eBay. Oh, to buy it. Yeah. Best picture was one battle after another and it's funny because the director or Paul's something or other, he gets on stage. And he's like starting to think people, then he realizes he had won a couple of Oscars before that. And there was some pretty important people. He forgot to think. Same's Paul. One of the best director of war and I forgot to thank my cast. Leo Benicio Tiana, Sean Regina. And especially Chase, my American girl Chase. You are the heart of this movie. This entire team. What a night. You guys. Let's have a more teeny. This is pretty amazing. Hot cheers. Thank you very much. Thank you. My wife Blake was watching that part
01and she goes, and you forgot to thank your wife. Yeah. Because wife is Maya Rudolph. Oh, really? I didn't see that. He didn't turn his first speech. I didn't see that part. Yeah, his first speech was all about how being a writer. You really like, in a speech like this, have to think the people that have to deal with you being a writer. And he's like, Maya, my kids. Thank you so much. Oh. If she was like crying in the audience, it was. I love my Rudolph so much. I know. I was like, that's her husband. I don't like that. Yeah. You know who her mom is? No. The person that sings. Many more pretend. That was actually a song I was going to walk down the aisle tail. Many. Did you see the whole cast of Bridesmaids got up there? That was kind of fun. That was cute. There were some cute sketches. Conan O'Brien hosted, and he did kind of like, poke fun at Timothy Shalamay. Remember all the drama leading up to? Yeah. Timothy's comment about how ballet doesn't matter. Security is extremely tight tonight. I'm told there's concerns about attacks from both the opera and ballet communities. And they show Timothy. They're just mad. You left out jazz.
01What? Laughing. Oh, my goodness. Did you see I saw on social media too? I didn't get it when I was watching it, but the people from the musical dance performance from sinners. Yeah. They brought a ballet girl out specifically for that. Yeah. And they had him sitting front row. All the comments are like, not only did Timothy Shalamay not win anything from already Supreme, but he has to win his ballet front row and center with this with kind of gender. I know. It was kind of over. He got, he did get snubbed, but that's okay. There was a really cute moment. Anne Hathaway was presenting the best wardrobe award with the Anna Winter. And you know, she's got devil wears product to coming out soon. And so they had, they had kind of fun with that. I'm good argue that one's wardrobe in real life is also key. Does it make one appear elegant and attractive? On say the most important night in Hollywood, when say the most important people in passion will be judging. How one looks. Anna, just curious. What do you think of my dress tonight? And the nominees are. I'm so, don't face.
02Golden from K-pop Demon Hunters was up for best original song, and they performed it. You don't know we're gonna be gonna be golden. We're gonna be golden. We're gonna be golden. We're gonna be golden. We're gonna be golden. We're gonna be golden. And then ended up winning best original song, which is the first time a K-pop song has ever won an Oscar for that category, which is really cool. So history was made for sure. It was, it was so cute because, and her name is Space Me, but she's saying that the speech, like how wonderful it is to be in this moment. And then one of the guys that worked on the song with her started, and they played him off. Like, he didn't even get to finish his speech. I felt so bad for him. When it comes to the big awards of the night, I feel so happy to see Buckley won best actress for Hamnet, and Michael B. Jordan won best actor for sinners. I stand here because of the people that came before me. Sydney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Howley Berry, Jamie Foxx, Forrest Whitaker, Will Smith, and to be amongst those giants, amongst those great, greats, amongst my ancestors, amongst my guys.
02Thank you everybody in this room, and everybody at home for supporting me over my career. I feel it. I know you guys want me to do well, and I wanna do that because you guys bet on me. So thank you for keeping betting on me. And then he went to In and Out Burger. Yeah, it's amazing. Those videos are going viral. Him hanging on in here. I know. I was so happy for Michael B. Jordan. Like, I was over the moon for him. That's me playing you out. Thank you. That's the music they play when you go too long. That's so messed up. Good. I just really watched it. I was really, really, as a great movie. Maybe I wanna watch it. I haven't seen it yet. It's really good. The musical performance last night. Yeah. From the movie, I thought was really good. And that song in the movie is like epic. It was when they were all dancing too. Yeah. Yeah, I wasn't a fan of that song. Oh, really? I love it. That's the movie and that scene you will. I did think it was funny that like this was the first year apparently that they said if you were voting into category, you had to see all the movies in the category. And all the comments were like, they weren't already doing that. Like you didn't have to see all the movies to be able to vote, which should have been a rule before. I thought the Academy Awards,
02I planned my day around the Academy Awards yesterday. And I, for some reason, I thought they would start at five. So at 430, I was like, I'm going to turn on and watch the red carpet stuff. And it was already long. I know. I turned it on. If I said the first half hour. So I was like, oh, my God. So I turned it on when that dance performance was going for sinners. And I was like, what is this? It was, it was someone annoying to me. But I also haven't seen the movie. And I didn't see the beginning. So I wasn't fair for me to judge. But the rest of the Oscars to me were so boring. Also, the in-mem-memorum part, whatever they all day show up, people that died. So many people died that they were doing two shots. Yeah. They would give, and then I thought, I know Rob Reiner's thing was really tragic. But they sure, like, they highlighted him. And then they highlighted Robert Redford. I would be ticked if I was one of my parents was one of the people in the months. For sure. And Catherine O'Hare just got like a, just a little nod. And well, I saw something that Eric Dane and James Dane would be going in there either. Weird. I know. And it's like, I would understand. I know it, like, is kind of recent. But I feel like that's something to video.
03Like, what's the cutoff day? Like, like, they'll be in next year's in memorial. Yeah, which is odd. They might be. But also, I thought maybe because they weren't movie actors, but they are. I know James Van Der Beek was in movie. Yeah. But they showed, like, script writers, and they showed people that weren't necessarily, you know, they showed publicists that passed away. So why not show James Van Der Beek in Eric Dane? I agree. I don't know why they didn't do it. All I know is I know our I Heart Radio Music Awards are the 26th of Fox. And I know they're going to be more, way more entertaining. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. Hey, what about Sean Penn not showing up? Yeah. And then Kieran Kulk is like, hey, he didn't show up or, uh, or he didn't want to be here. Yeah, he said he couldn't be here. Or maybe he just didn't want to be here. Here's the truth.
