Leonie Rowland is a writer living in Manchester, UK. She is currently doing her PhD with the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she researches commodity animism in the Japanese Gothic. Leonie is Editor-in-Chief of The Hungry Ghost Project and Assistant Reviews Editor at The British Society for Literature and Science. Her writing has been published widely, and she won Third Prize in the June 2021 Bath Flash Fiction Award. Her debut chapbook, In Bed with Melon Bread, is available from Dreich.
