Leicester Council Debuts Busker Spots

These performance pitches will be located on High Street, East Gates, Velgrave Gate, and Galatree Gate. Performers can book slots online for free through the Council's website. The spots will open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. With the first bookings available this Wednesday, March 4th, each location will feature busk Leicester decorations to highlight the performers and draw crowds without blocking pathways. City leaders say buskers add energy to busy streets and make the area more inviting for visitors. They chose these spots carefully to balance exposure for artists with smooth foot traffic.
