The team released him on January 12th, and by Wednesday, he made it official on social media. He went undrafted out of Montana State University before latching on with the Los Angeles Rams. That led to his only regular season action, 10 games in 2022, though he didn't record a single catch in limited snaps. After the Rams cut him in August 2023, McCutchen bounced between teams on practice squads and preseason rosters. He spent time with the Houston Texans that year, the New York Jets through 2023 and 2024, the Pittsburgh Steelers in, 2024 and 2025, and finally the Titans. His pro journey stayed mostly behind the scenes, sharpening skills without much game day shine. Still, he shared deep gratitude for everyone who helped turn his NFL dream into reality, from coaches to supporters.
