Like Northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph, prime for boaters if you bundle up. Sunrise hits at 7.04am, sunset at 8.11pm, giving you a solid 13 hours of daylight to chase them.

Recent catches around the lake? Locals bolted limits of 2 to 5 pounds walleyes on jig minos last week, plus small mouthbass hitting 3 to 4 pounds and channel cats up to 10 pounds. No massive hulls reported yet, but the bites on for eyes and perch, folks pulling 20 to 30 fish days easy. Best lose right now? Go with vibrant and jigs tipped with minos or rapala shad wraps in perch or fire tiger for walleye trolling, 1.5 to 2.5 miles per hour, for bass, tube jigs or suspending jerk baits shine.
