Lake Dallas House Explosion: Massive Fire, Injuries

A house in Lake Dallas, Texas exploded Thursday night, sparking a massive fire that brought the entire structure down. It happened around 7.05 pm on March 19 and the 600 block of Mosley Street right next to Lake Dallas Middle School. Firefighters from Lake City's and police rushed to the scene first. Several other agencies pitched in two, including police from Lewisville, Corinth, and Highland Village. Atmos energy crews were there on site during the blaze, checking things out as the home collapsed. A local resident fishing nearby called it the loudest boom he'd ever heard, saying the place was pretty much leveled right away. At least one person got airlifted to a hospital with injuries.
