Signed two and a half years ago, it paid them $10 million each per year and kept their Sydney station on top of the ratings for years. The duo's shock jock style drew big crowds in Sydney but bombed with Melbourne listeners stalling ARN's expansion plans. Their on-air partnership soured in February when Kyle made personal digs at Jackie, prompting her to walk away from the morning drive show. ARN now calls Kyle's behavior a contract breach and gave him 14 days to fix it by getting the pair back together. That's looking unlikely and the company is spinning the split as a financial win amid tough times. Shares in ARN jumped 1.5% on the news after a 41% drop over the past year. The network faces a 10% revenue slum next year and needs to cut $40 million in costs
