Kyle Harrison turned heads in the Milwaukee Brewers spring training game against the Seattle Mariners. The lefty struck out eight batters over three innings and a six to three win, allowing only two hits and one earned run. He arrived in Milwaukee just last month through a six player trade with the Boston Red Sox on February 9th. That deal sent Harrison along with a couple other prospects to the Brewers for infielders and a draft pick. Harrison got his start with the San Francisco Giants who picked him in the third round of the 2020 draft out of high school in California. He climbed the miners fast, earning top honors early on, and made his major league debut at age 22 and 2023. Brewers manager Pat Murphy praised his sharp stuff, including a nasty slurve and better change up, saying he looks ready for the big leads right now. Harrison's past seasons show promise with solid records and errors around four.
