Kyle Allen Returns to Buffalo Bills

He signed a two-year deal worth $4.1 million that could go up to $6.1 million. Allen kicked off his NFL career with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent back in 2018. He got his big break the next year, filling in for an injured Cam Newton. In those 12 starts during 2019, Allen threw for 3,322 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 16 picks. His team went five and seven in those games. After Carolina, he bounced around to Washington from 2020 to 2021, Houston in 2022, Buffalo in 2023, Pittsburgh in 2024, and Detroit in 2025. Now back with the Bills, Allen joins a growing list of ex-panthers heading to Orchard Park, leaving Buffalo some familiar depth at quarterback.
