Kraken Lose to Predators, Road Trip Continues

The Seattle Kraken fell to the National Predators 3-1 on Thursday March 19th. That loss gave Nashville the win in their season series, with each team having split the first two games. The Predators jumped ahead early, but Seattle tied it late in the first period before Nashville pulled away with a power play goal in the second, and an empty netter in the third. Frederick Goddrow broke a 27-game gold drought for the Kraken, tipping in a shot to make it one-to-one. Playing on the fourth line with younger teammates, the veteran forward showed his scoring touch when it mattered most, and it kept the game from, turning into a shit-out. Stats showed a close battle on paper, with Seattle firing 26 shots to Nashville's 27, but taking more penalties at 8 minutes, too. Six, the Kraken won more face-offs at 53.7 percent, yet Nashville simply outplayed them on the night. Both teams now sit at 71 points
