Kliff Kingsbury Joins Rams, Boosts Offense

Cliff Kingsbury is joining the Los Angeles Rams as assistant head coach after parting ways with the Washington commanders this off season. He spent two seasons there as offensive coordinator helping develop quarterback Jayden Daniels. Now, he'll work closely with Rams head coach Sean McVey. Kingsbury hit the coaching market, but passed on bigger head coach or coordinator spots. Instead, he landed this key role with the Rams, where McVey has long admired his offensive skills. McVey called Kingsbury a tremendous addition, praising his experience and fresh ideas. The two have mutual respect from years of watching each other's work, even without prior overlap. This higher bolsters the Rams already strong offense, led by quarterback Matthew Stafford. Kingsbury will oversee schemes and collaborate without calling plays right away. After all, it sets Kingsbury up nicely to innovate and position himself for another head coaching
