Klavzar Returns, Boosting Gators' Offense

0:00On March 26, Florida Gators' men's basketball fans have some good news. Junior Guard Irvin Clavzar announced on social media that he's returning for the 2026-27 season. The Slovenian standout loved his time in Gainesville and wants to chase another championship run after last year's tough second round exit. He's the second back-war player committing to come back, following sophomore Boogiefland who shared his plans earlier the same day. Clavzar stepped up big this past season. Boosting his playing time from spot minutes as a freshman to about 21 minutes per game. His breakout year paid off with strong numbers, averaging just under 10 points while shooting over 40% from deep overall. That earned him the southeastern conference six-man of the year award, especially shining in league play and during the team's late winning streak. Clavzar proved vital as the Gators' top-outside shooter, delivering key performances like 20 points against TCU and 19 vs. Kentucky. Keeping him around with Flann strengthens the offense heading into next year.
