Kirk Show Producer Slams Kent's Robinson Trial Comments

On March 25th, Andrew Colvet, a producer on the Charlie Kirk show and close friend of the

host, went on air Tuesday to slam conspiracy theories about Kirk's death.

He called out former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kint for saying he

testified in the trial of Tyler Robinson, the Utah man charged.

With the shooting, Colvet worries this could weaken the prosecution before the case even

starts.

Kint, a former Army and CIA officer who ran as an America First Republican in Washington

State, insists he'd take the stand for the truth, even if it helps the defense.

His comments have stirred debate, especially since strong evidence already links Robinson

to the crime.

Colvet and fellow producer Blake Neff stressed the risks, saying public statements like

Kint might poison the jury pool or lead to a hung jury.

They fear it could even remove the death penalty as an option, turning a solid case into

a mess.

Public records show a rifle wrapped in a towel with Robinson's DNA was found near the shooting

site, along with a matching caliber weapon owned by his, family.

Another DNA hit came from a screwdriver on the rooftop where the fatal shot rang out.

Meanwhile, Robinson faces an April 17 hearing on courtroom cameras and a preliminary hearing

May 18th through 20th.
