ESPN draft guru Mel Kuiper Jr. has the Carolina Panthers selecting safety, a manual McNeil Warren from the University of Toledo with the 19th. Overall, Paken is latest 2026 mock draft. This comes right after the Panthers made several defensive moves in free agency. McNeil Warren earned second team All-American honors last year as a 22-year-old standout. Over four college seasons, he racked up 10 force fumbles and five interceptions, showing great speed and instincts. The Panthers beefed up their defense by signing edge rusher Jalen Phillips and linebacker Devon Lloyd to big contracts. They also resigned safety Nick Scott and have Trayvon Moarig plus second-year player Lathen Ransom in the mix. Last season, Carolina's secondary struggled, allowing 6.5 yards per dropback, which ranked 22nd in the league. The group combined for just three picks total.
