That 44-point blowout marks the biggest margin ever in a grand final. Adelaide star Bryce Cotton fresh off his 6-league MVP award, struggled big time with just 10 points. Cotton came in hot after averaging 36.3 points in the semi-finals, but the Kings held him to a season low against him. He faced some rough physical play early, getting hit in the face a few times and taking only one free-throw-all game. Kings coach Brian Gorgian pushed back on claims of targeting Cotton, calling the contact accidental and part of defending top players.
