KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O Show Faces Strict Rules

The Australian Communications and Media Authority has placed strict conditions on the radio license of KIIS FM owner ARN Media after repeated. Violations by the Kyle and Jackie Yosho, these rules will last five years and require the station to follow decency standards, a voting highly offensive content or strong explicit sexual references that would shock a typical listener. ARN Media has already ended the controversial show and says it has made changes to meet these new requirements and protect its brand. The trouble started earlier this month when Kyle Sandilands was suspended for serious misconduct, yelling at co-host Jackie Yos during their February, 20th broadcasts until she walked off air and refused to return. Sandilands now has until tomorrow to convince her to come back and save the show, which was backed by a 10-year, $200 million deal set, to run until the end of 2034.
