Kevin Spacey Settles Sexual Assault Cases

The civil cases were set for trial at the high court later this year, but they've now been put on hold. The accusations date back to between 2000 and 2013. The 66-year-old actor denies any wrongdoing. Spacey was cleared of nine sexual offense charges in a criminal trial back in 2023. Two of the civil claimants had also testified against him in that case. He served as artistic director at London's Old Vic Theatre from 2004 to 2013, where some of the alleged incidents took place. One accuser, known only as GHI, said he met Spacey through a workshop at the Old Vic and claimed lasting psychiatric and financial harm from an an. alleged 2008 assault. Another, Rewari Cannon, when public with his name. He performed in a play there in 2013, and accused Spacey of groping him at a party.

1:02Earlier this month, a hearing discussed evidence from seven other witnesses with similar claims. Cannon had already settled separately with the Old Vic Theatre.
