Kentucky's McBride Visit Boosts Wildcats

0:00On April 23rd, Kentucky's got their eyes on a big get from the transfer portal, just to McBride out of James Madison. The 6.7-240-pound forward just wrapped up a solid visit in Lexington yesterday, and word is, it went smooth, putting the Wildcats in prime position. Last season, McBride exploded for the dukes, dropping 15.3 points and grabbing 5.6 rebounds a game. Doos showed he can handle the load as a versatile forward, fans are buzzing, but we all know in recruiting nothing sealed until the ink dries. Kentucky's feeling good though, and could land a real still here. Meanwhile, the NFL draft fires up tonight in Pittsburgh, round 1, at APM Eastern Time. Raiders look locked to snag Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, first overall. Then it gets wild with the Titans at pick number 4, Cowboys maybe, trading up, and Giants holding 2 top 10 shots. No Kentucky guys expected in round 1, barring a surprise, but tomorrow could change that.
