Kentucky's Draft Prospects: Quaintance, Moreno, Oweh

He called the 2010 draft the greatest day ever for the program when five wallcats went first round, including number one pick, John Wall. Those glory days brought multiple lottery picks a year after year. Fast forward to now under head coach Mark Pope and the pipeline has slowed way down. Pope's first team had two second rounders, and this summer it looks like just one potential pick with limited minutes. Jading Quentin's barely played, logging only 66 minutes total due to knee issues after ACL surgery. Still, ESPN's latest mock draft projects him as a first rounder at number 15 to the Chicago Bulls. Scouts love his size, defense and upside, even before he turns 19. Meanwhile, Malachai Moreno shows up in the second round at number 43 to the Brooklyn Nets. But he's testing the waters while planning to return for his sophomore year in Lexington.
