Kentucky Basketball Lands Top Transfer

After losing Mo Dubey to LSU and Andrea Jelavic to Ohio State, the Wildcats had nobody at that spot. Now just to McBride from James Madison Stepson, joining Zoom Diallo from Washington and Alex Wilkins from Furman as the new transfers. McBride's a six foot seven junior from Plano, Texas, who blew up this past season with 15.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He shot 49% from the field, 40% from three, and 78% from the line, earning third team all sun-built honors. His path wasn't straight started at Oklahoma State as a freshman for 2.5 points and 1.5 boards, then Nevada as a sophomore with 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds. James Madison Coach, Preston Spradlin, who worked on John Calipari's staff at Kentucky from 2009 to 2014. This move fills a huge gap and brings scoring punch inside and out, setting Kentucky up stronger for next season as they keep building through the portal.
