Karina Holmer | The Boston Au Pair Murder

Karina Holmer knew within two months that being an au pair was not the job for her. She began to make plans to go home to Sweden, but she was killed after a night out with friends. With conflicting witness statements and no clear answers, the police are still waiting on the one tip that could bring this case together. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Boston Police Department Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470. Information can also be left anonymously by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 800-494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
