The Avon Old Farm Senior from Connecticut pledged to the J-Hawks right after his official visit to Lawrence kicked off on Monday. Earlier this week, he became the second freshman to commit, coming on the heels of top prospect Tieren Stokes. Mordini tips the scales at 210 pounds, but flies under the radar with limited film and no major rankings. Spans will sleep on this one since his only division one offer was from UMKC, possibly as a walk on. Still, Scouts highlight his senior year 3-point shooting at 46 percent, marking him as a potential floor spacer.
