Josh Dix: Hoops & Honors

0:00On April 30th, Creighton Guard Josh Dix just got named to the Division First AAA Athletics Directors Association Scholar Athlete team for Men's. Basketball. He's also the recipient of their $5,000 postgraduate scholarship. This honor goes to top performers who crush it in class and own the court from schools across the conference. Dix, a senior majoring in finance, boasts a 3.58 grade point average. He started all 34 games this season, dropping 13.2 points, grabbing 3.7 rebounds, and dishing 2.3. Assist per game. His shooting splits hit 43.9% from the field, 33.8% from 3%, and 86.7% from the line. Off the court, Dix shines too, earning academic all conference nods, multiple Dean's List spots, and the Big East Sportsmanship Award. He's given back to hospital visits and fundraisers, like raising $3,800 in a team jersey auction for cancer. Research.
