The 31-year-old was arrested this week in Arkansas for an incident back in 2020 during a family trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. Authorities say he inappropriately touched a then-nine-year-old girl on multiple occasions. The girl, now 14, reported that Joseph manipulated her underwear and touched her private areas. After her father confronted him on March 17th, Joseph admitted to the actions, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office. From prison, his older brother Josh Dugger had his attorney release a statement expressing sadness over the news. The attorney highlighted how accusations can carry a heavy stigma and sometimes lead to unfair publicity while noting the brothers don't talk often. Josh, now 38, is serving a 12-year sentence after his own conviction in 2021 for possessing child sexual abuse material.
