Joseph Duggar Charged with Child Molestation

City, Florida. He is accused of lewd and lascivious behavior with a child under 12. This comes over a decade after he publicly condemned his older brother Josh for similar child sexual abuse crimes. Josh Dugger, 38, admitted to molesting five young girls, including two of his sisters as a teen. He later got convicted in 2022 for downloading child sexual abuse material and is serving a 12-and-a-half-year prison sentence. Back in December 2015, Joseph spoke out on a family reality show expressing heartbreak over Josh's secret double life. He had no idea his brother was capable of such acts. The new allegations against Joseph involve asking the girl to sit on his lap, the next to him on a couch under a blanket. Officials say he touched her thighs and genitals inappropriately before apologizing after which it stopped.
