Jorge Martin: Resilience & converting speed into wins

About this episode

How does a MotoGP rookie get a pole position & podium in their second ever race? And then their second pole & a WIN in their SIXTH race? Jorge Martin is well and truly living his dream, he still can’t quite believe he is in fact a MotoGP rider, let alone a rider capable of winning in the premier class in his first season. We recorded this podcast with Jorge on the Thursday before the Styrian GP and wanted to know how he’s so resilient and able to return after set back & after set back, why he’s always been so fast over one lap, how he’s managed to convert that into victories in all classes… AND how he (at the time) planned to do that in MotoGP. Little did we know what was to happen on Sunday. Remarkable. The podcast blessing is back! Expecting an orderly queue of MotoGP riders who want another podium or win to turn up ready for a chat at Silverstone now… Enjoy!
