Jordan Davis Becomes Highest-Paid Nose Tackle

The 26-year-old agreed to a three-year contract extension worth 78 million dollars with 65 million guaranteed. This deal keeps him with the team for four more seasons. The extension gives him an average of 26 million dollars per year, tying him for second among interior defensive lineman. He matches his former teammate Milton Williams there with Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones ahead of both. Davis joined the Eagles after they picked him 13th overall in the 2022 NFL draft out of the University of Georgia. He has started every one of the team's 17 games over the past three seasons. Coming off his best year yet, Davis posted career highs including 72 tackles, four and a half sacks, nine tackles for loss and six passes, defended.
