0:00You found the Minnesota Wild Podcast, presented by Acreshure. Yeah, it felt pretty good. It was a little bit rusty in the beginning, to be honest. But yeah, it felt like it was getting better in the second and third. And then it was nice to the team played really good and the goal it was. So it was a good team game and it was fun to come back with the boys. So everything, 100% for you right now, injury wise? Yeah, I feel good. It was a tough decision there before Olympics for sure. It's a tough couple of weeks. But yeah, I think it was for the best. He's no point to go there and play on 80%. So I think it was better to do it. Who did you speak to to make that as I imagine? Like you said, it was a hard one. Yeah. Now I just talked to the teammates, like family and stuff like that. But yeah, it was tough to miss that for sure. But yeah, now I'm ready for a playoff here and it feels good. How do you do it though? Can you just say about what you dealt with and like how long were you playing through for a while or just...

1:03Yeah, no, it was nothing, just a little bit at the end there. But yeah, I felt like I had to get it fixed. So yeah, we did it. So I feel it came in a good timing to you and all, because I didn't miss a lot of games. But at the same time, it was tough to miss Olympics. What kind of... What do you think you... If you wouldn't have bought it, you would have won Olympics. Like, would you just have been a lesser player of your capability? Would you just feel like you would have been yourself? Yeah, for sure. I didn't feel right to go there. Like I said, I'd probably play like... Go there and play is 70%, 80%. It's not... Against the best players in the world, it's not easy. So yeah, it felt like I had to do it. I feel good now, so I'm ready for the playoff. I'm happy to be back. How do you do it? It's not the first time you've done it where you miss some time. And it looks like you've got zero rust whatsoever. How do you just pick up where you left off? Yeah, I don't know. I felt really rusty, to be honest, but in the first period. But it got better and better.

2:03I mean, I've been doing a lot of work with NNSN, all the strength coaches back there, and they do a good job. So I feel I've been in great shape and I'm ready to go. You mentioned it a couple of times, just somewhere under 20 games left to go in the regular season. How nice is it to get back in here and get your legs back underneath you going in the best time of year? Yeah, now it's fun to be back with the boys playing. And then now it's the fun starts with these games. And just trying to get better every game here. And then we go from there. Which Tuesday, always the target? Like, going back weeks, did you circle that Tampa game and say that's the day I'm going to be back? Not really. We took it like week by week. And I felt great. I've been skating a couple of times and I felt great. And that was a good time to get the game. And then we got two, three days between two Vegas games. So it was just a good schedule, I think.
