00Greetings, family. Welcome to today's reading of scripture. On Fernando, your host, Fernando Commando, the way one lady expressed it to me in the store in the Isles, 92-year-old lady with a vivid imagination and talk. It was extremely wonderful to talk to, who is of service to people that like to be of service. I had just finished making some pancakes for the guys at the park at a 12th-day meeting that, and I went to the store to restock onto supplies, and I bumped into a lady that 92-year-old and she was buying supplies for her Wednesday commitment as providing snacks for the yoga class there. And she loved it,
00and she was bright and beautiful, and when we exchanged names, she said, Fernando's hideaway. She must have seen the show in New York. I guess it was in the 50s. That was very popular. Fernando's talk show, I guess it was, or it was a cafe or even a nightclub. Fernando's hideaway. So that's a good title for my podcast. Amen. Let's go ahead and pray. Heavenly Father, Creator of all things, Sustainer of all life. Lord, we thank You for today's relaxation with Your scriptures, with Your Word. Relaxes, Lord. Amuse us, strengthen us through the storytelling of Your Word that intrigues us. We love Your Word, we love Your instructions. You carry us in the midst of Your palms, in Your hands, Lord. You carry us on Your shoulder. We thank You, Father, and we're thrilled that You're so excited to be our
04God, and in the midst of us. And all of God's people say, I love You, Jesus. I love You. If no one's told you they love you, I love you. I care. And we are a family of God. We stick together in prayer. The Lord has blessed you. The Lord has developed you. The Lord does carry you and fixes you. We are fixed. We are whole. We are healthy through the blood and the work of Jesus Christ, the finished work. Amen. Today, we have an interesting scripture is John 10-10, where it says, a thief comes to seal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus, I Jesus, come. I came so that my sheep will have life so that they will have everything they need, that they will have everything they need. The good news translation says it this way, the thief comes only in order to
12seal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you may have life, life in all this fullness. And the international standard version says that thief comes only to seal, slaughter, and destroy. I come that they may have life and have it abundantly. As I was reading it earlier, the Holy Spirit said to me, I said, how do you get out of the side or the dimension where the thief comes only to seal, kill, and destroy those who walked into his dimension? How do you get into the dimension? New living translation says the thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. Our purpose is to stay away from the thief's dimension. How do we do that?
13By thanking God for problems, by staying joyful, by reading the word daily, by filling up with his word and get an overflow. You know when you get an overflow, when you start being humorous, when life is becoming gratifying, gratitude, you know about the things that God has given you, all the things you wish for, you ask for the card, the refrigerator with ice maker, television, the nice leather couch, the patio, the two car garage, all the appliances you can think of, everything you possibly can wish for, go ahead and count them. Go and act like they're not there and they gave us inspiration when we unbox them. Think about them and count them. Count all your blessings so you can get that tree of life, which it gives us a shot in the arm
19and the more shots we get, the more abundant life we will identify. Sounds good to me, folks. We have to find all the hacks spiritually that can give us, yes, the word prosperity. Woo! And the word prosperity in its true sense is to grow in wisdom, rewards, talent, skills, and new ways of helping others. Okay, so my question is, or the question of the Holy Spirit is, how to stay away from the camp of the thief, the camp of the enemy, because he comes only to steal and kill and destroy. And are there any examples where you got off the beam of God's love and joy? There's probably a lot of it, a lot of examples now. The New Living Translation says that these purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose as Jesus is to give
28them a rich and satisfying life. Woo-hoo! Let's vote for Jesus. He wants to give us a rich and satisfying life. Amen. Hallelujah. We will take it. Amen. We will take it. Let me see what other Berean literal Bible says that these come only that he might steal and might kill and might destroy. I have come that they may have life and may have it abundantly. Woo! That's a beautiful translation, huh? It says it's a sure thing. And look at us. I've been at it for over 44 or something years in Christ Jesus. And I can attest to you that everything that is done for Jesus Christ, for His Church, has value, changing millions and millions of life. And we are one of those
33changed lives, you know. We're going to have in folks. We're in it. We're in the camp of Jesus Christ. So Berean says, I came that they may have life and may have it abundantly. Amen. There's always a chance that we are judgmental. We're complaining, criticizing, murmuring, and that gets us into a dangerous spot. We are under the enemy, the authority of the enemy. We're citing what the enemy, the enemy wants us to murmur, wants us to complain, wants us to blame God. This Smith literal translation says that these come not except that he steals and sacrifices and destroys. Jesus says, I came that they may might have life and have above measure. Woo!
38The duet, Ryan Bible says, I come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. The cat the life says and have it more abundantly. The new American Bible says and have it more abundantly. New Revised Standard, more abundantly, more abundantly. Whatever is abundant, the Aramic Bible, but that these come not come except the steel kiln destroy. I come that they may have life and have whatever is abundant. Huh, interesting, whatever is abundance. May Sutesiman says, but I am come that they might have life and have it with all its advantages. Woo! I like that. Worsely New Testament translation, the thief come at only the steel and to kill and to destroy. I come that they may have life and have it in its perfection. Wow,
42that is beautiful. We may have life in its perfection. Okay, let's read it in context. Jesus is the good shepherd. I am the gate. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved. He will come in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steel and kill and destroy. I come that they may have life and have it in all his fullness. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 3.16, for God's love the world that he gave his only one son that everyone who believed in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 1.4, in him was life and that life was the light of man. John 5.24, truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears my word
43and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. John 6.35, Jesus answered, I am the bread of life, whoever comes to me will never hunger and whoever believes in me will never thirst. John 14.6, Jesus answered, I am the way in the truth in the life. No one comes to the Father except to me. John 17.3, now this is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. First John 5.11 and 12, and this is that testimony. God has given us eternal life and this life is in his Son, whoever has the Son has life, whoever does not have the Son of God
47does not have life. Romans 6.23, for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 5.17, for if by the trespasses of the one man, death reign through that one man, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5.17 it says, therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature, the oil has passed away, behold the new has come. Ephesians 2.45, but because of his great love for us, God who is rich and mercy made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses, it is by grace you have been saved.
56Colossians 3, 3 and 4, for you died and your life is now hidden with Christ in God, when Christ who is your life appears, then you will also appear with Him in glory. 1 Timothy 619, treasuring up for himself a firm foundation for the future so that they may take whole of that which is truly life. Hebrews 2, 14 and 15, now since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in the humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is the devil and free those who are their lives who are held in slavery by their fear of death. Look at that, people are held on the power of death because they fear death. That's why you want
58to thank God for little things, big things, stuffing your toll offences because you will believe and no news, no situation will rock your world. You will be in love by all things. Amen. Revelation is 216 and He told me it is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end to the thirsty. I will give freely from the springs of water. John 101, very, very, I say unto you, he that enter it not by the door into the sheafel, but climb it up some other way, the same as the thief in a robberer. John 126, this he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief and had the bag and bear what was put
58therean. Isaiah 5611, yeah, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough and they are shepherds that cannot understand. They all look to their own way every one of for his own gate from his quarter. John 317, for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved. John 63351, for the bread of God is he who come down from heaven and give it life unto the world. John 1247, and if any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not for I come, I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. Roman 513 and 21,
00for unto the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Hebrews 617, wherein God willing more abundantly to show unto their heirs or promise the immutable of his counsel, confirm it by an oath. Hebrews 725, wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever live it to make intercession for them. Amen. Well, thank you very much for coming on today's quick Bible study on John 1010. And again, I remind you that thanking God for circumstances, especially the little stuff, put a rubber band on your wrist and snap it each time we forget that thank God when we have an
01opportunity. Opportunity is that we're staying in the reward side. We're staying on the smile side, on the smiling side. We choose to rejoice in this day for God has made it for us and he has established us for his purpose and grand tour. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, let's get out there and give them heaven. Be blessed family, establish your purpose in Jesus' name. Amen.
