Jodie Marsh Pleads Not Guilty to Assault

0:00On April 17th, former glamour model Jody Marsh, now 47, just pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man named Christopher Hines back on January 16th in Dunmau, Essex. She also denied two counts of using threatening words or behavior toward him and another person Susan Hammond on the same day. She showed up at Helmsford magistrates court last Friday dressed in a black leather jacket confirmed her details and got released on, unconditional bail. Her trial set for Colchester magistrates court on May 7th, 2027. Marsh runs an animal sanctuary in Linsill and last year she won a court battle to keep lemurs there despite local pushback. The judge noted she genuinely cares for the animals but highlighted real tension with neighbors. Police reports described a woman acting aggressively including an assault in verbal threats which led to these charges.
