Jets Part Ways with Linebacker Quincy Williams

After trading edge-russia-dramane Johnson, they're now set to part ways with linebacker Quincy Williams. The 29-year-old is expected to hit free agency instead of staying in New York. This comes under new defensive coordinator Aaron Glen, who's installing a 3-4 scheme. Quincy, the brother of Quin and Williams, follows his sibling out the door. Quin and was traded to the Dallas Cowboys a few months back. Fans and analysts see this as part of a bigger rebuild on that side of the ball. Quincy spent five years with the Jets, starting 73 of 78 games. He earned first team all pro honors in 2023, but saw his role shrink last season. In 2025, he played just 12 games with under 800 snaps, down from over 1000 the prior two years. His stats included 83 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 7 passes defended, a step back from his
